The United States District Court for the District of Colorado (in case citations, D. Colo.) is a federal court in the Tenth Circuit (except for patent claims and claims against the U.S. government under the Tucker Act, which are appealed to the Federal Circuit). Colorado Springs Division comprises the following counties: Alamosa, Baca, Bent, Cheyenne, Conejos, Costilla, Crowley, Custer, El Paso, Fremont, Huerfano, Kiowa, Kit Carson, Las Animas, Lincoln, Mineral, Otero, Prowers, Pueblo, Rio Grande, and Saguache. Denver Division comprises the following counties: Adams, Arapahoe, Boulder, Broomfield, Chaffee, Clear Creek, Denver, Douglas, Elbert, Gilpin, Grand, Jefferson, Lake, Larimer, Logan, Morgan, Park, Phillips, Sedgwick, Summit, Teller, Washington, Weld, and Yuma.
